Abraham Lincoln

My path to becoming a therapist was paved by a deep, personal understanding of what it means to navigate life’s most difficult transitions. Having experienced the loss of my husband and other dear loved ones, I don't just understand the theory of grief—I understand the weight of it. These experiences have instilled in me a profound empathy for the human condition and a drive to help others find their way back to wholeness.
My commitment to supporting others began years ago as a Samaritan, where I learned the transformative power of active listening and the sacredness of confidentiality. Today, as a therapist, I combine that foundational heart for service with professional expertise. Whether I am supporting clients and families at St Elizabeth Hospice or working with individuals in my private practice, my goal remains the same: to provide a safe, non-judgmental sanctuary for you to explore your story.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk beside you, offering a client-centered approach that empowers you to develop your own coping strategies and path to healing. Beyond individual therapy, I am also dedicated to helping families navigate conflict through mediation, seeking resolutions that bring peace to all involved.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you’ve already done the hardest part by being here. Whether you are navigating a recent loss, looking for better ways to cope, or needing a neutral voice to help your family find a resolution, I am here to listen.
